Promoting inclusion and diversity in STEAM for a sustainable future
The goal of WP2 is to develop the Blooming toolkit that will include resources that highlight the importance of inclusion in STEM for a sustainable future:
- Create Stories of STEAM women of the past.
- Create a repository of STEM scientific articles written by leading women.
- Create guidelines for teachers on how to promote inclusion in a STEAM.
How to promote inclusion in STEAM
WP3 aims to create a collection of stories -The Blooming story book that will tell stories of women working in STEAM fields today in different cultural settings around Europe and address the importance of inclusion and sustainability in STEAM.
- Tell the stories of modern STEM women using storytelling methodology and spark young learners ( 14 and above ) interest in STEAM.
- Promote the use of inclusive teaching methodology in STEM classrooms by providing ready to use lesson plans.
- Raise awareness about the gender gap in STEM.

WP4 aims to create and hold a face-to-face and online training programme for educators and graduate students in education, about the importance of promoting inclusion and diversity in a STEAM classroom.
- Create a training programme for educators on how to promote inclusion in the STEAM classroom
- Train educators to implement in their classrooms activities that promote inclusion and diversity and use the Blooming toolkit and Storybook
- Promote the Blooming toolkit and blooming storybook in order to raise awareness about the gender gap in STEAM and inspire young learners ( 14 and above) to pursue a STEAM .
